Employee appreciation post: Davide Demicheli’s Digital Hall of Fame

Kicking off our Digital Wall of Fame, we’re thrilled to introduce you to one of our remarkable team members, Davide Demicheli. Davide is a Project Engineer at Acrospire with an impressive customer service record, decades of lighting knowledge, project management experience, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

We had the opportunity to sit down with Davide and ask him questions about himself, his work at Acrospire, and what inspires him.

Tell us about yourself.

Hi, I’m Davide, in my role as Project Engineer at Acrospire I love to solve problems and turn challenges into solutions. In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, spending time with my family, socialising and watching Chelsea Football Club.

What do you think is the best thing about Acrospire? What do you enjoy most about your role?

Acrospire is a great company to work for that genuinely values its employees and creates a dynamic, friendly and welcoming environment – which is important for fostering growth.

I love the fact every day is different: which means it’s never boring and I am always given the opportunity to get involved in new developments.

I was never a dog person, more of a cat man to be honest, but since working at Acrospire I have grown to love them. There can be anything up to four dogs running around the office. Chaos sometimes. But lovely all the same.

The company is inclusive and most importantly the staff are treated with respect.

I also like the fact that everyone mucks in no matter what job title they have.

We spend a lot of time at work and, so far, Acrospire has managed to give people opportunity, variation in their roles and have made it a fun place to be.

Who or what inspires you the most these days? Why?

Paul Canoville who set up the The Paul Canoville Foundation in 2015.

Paul was Chelsea’s first black footballer. Racially abused by his own Chelsea supporters on his footballing debut at Crystal Palace, he is widely regarded by the football community as a pioneer.

After his career was cut short through injury, and encountering many obstacles and hardships such as racism, homelessness, drug addiction, cancer and mental health issues, Paul wanted to give something back to the community and youth in particular.

The Foundation works with schools and youth organisations to promote confidence, well-being, diversity and resilience through workshops and sporting activities.

Racism, homelessness, drug addiction, cancer and mental health issues is a big list for a single human being to deal with and yet he has still come out the other side. Truly inspirational.

If there is one thing you could eat for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Anything my wife cooks (she is amazing!).

At Acrospire, we’re proud to have team members like Davide, who bring their expertise, passion, and commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.
